Aspiring School Leaders Fellowship

The Call to Action

Representation matters. The demographics of the student population of San Diego County public schools, especially in urban areas, are not currently reflected in their local school educators. TFA San Diego believes that its alumni and like-minded educators can play a catalytic role in the growing movement for educational equity across San Diego County. Our fellowship is aimed at helping educators strengthen their leadership skills and mindset and prepare them to assume leadership positions within schools throughout our county.

This hybrid, cohort-based fellowship is designed to support and accelerate the alumni educators currently sitting in school leadership positions and/or who aspire to be in school leadership within the next 2 years. Learning opportunities center our leader's values in equity and require application in relevant, competency-based scenario practice and on-the-ground experiences.
